Kointent Ad Share Links: How Publishers Can Earn Without a Big Website

What Ad Share Links are

Ad Share Links are designed for Publishers who want to share a Kointent advertising page with an audience. In the Publisher Share to Earn section, you can create a link and give it a label such as β€œMy WhatsApp Status”. You can also choose an advertising category or leave it on all categories. The result is a trackable link connected to your publisher account.

This is useful because many Ghanaians already have audiences outside a traditional website. Someone may run a WhatsApp community, a Facebook group, a Telegram audience or another online community. A link can be shared where it is appropriate, giving the audience a clear page to visit while allowing Kointent to measure the advertising activity connected to that link.

How to create a link

Open the Publisher dashboard and go to Share to Earn. Select the Ad Share Links tab. Give the link a simple label so you can remember where you intend to use it. For example, you could use β€œWhatsApp Status September” or β€œFootball Community”. Then choose an ad category if you want to focus on a particular type of advertising. If you do not choose one, the link can use all available categories according to the platform's serving rules.

Once the link is created, the dashboard can show the links you have made. There is also a View Ads Page option. Open the link yourself once to make sure it works before sharing it widely. Keep different links for different audiences when that helps you compare results.

Where can you share it?

Use places where people already expect to receive useful links. WhatsApp Status is one obvious example because it is widely used in Ghana. You could also share a link with a community you manage when the community rules allow advertising. A business-focused audience might be suitable for one category, while a general audience may work better with all categories.

The important word is relevant. Do not drop an advertising link into every conversation. If people feel that every message from you is an advert, they may mute or leave your community. Instead, give context. Explain that the page contains advertisements and may be useful to people looking for offers or services. Respect the rules of the platform where you are sharing.

How the earning side works

Kointent's Share to Earn page explains that visitors to an Ad Share Link can see ads and that eligible activity is credited at the same CPM/CPC rates used for ads served on a publisher website. That means you should think of the link as another advertising placement, not as a guaranteed payment for every person who opens it.

The dashboard helps you monitor the activity. Depending on the data available for your account, you can see link information and the associated advertising performance. Real visitors matter. A person who opens a page and immediately leaves is different from a visitor who actually sees or interacts with an advert. Do not promise your audience that they will earn money simply for opening the link unless the platform specifically says so.

Share-to-Earn and referrals are different

The Share to Earn area contains two separate ideas: referrals and Ad Share Links. Your referral link is used to invite people to Kointent. Referral earnings depend on the activity of eligible users you refer and the current referral settings. Ad Share Links are used to send people to an advertising page. Mixing the two can confuse new users, so explain clearly which link you are sharing.

The referral dashboard can show the number of people you referred, referral balance, all-time earned amount and referral events. The current settings can also show the percentage and duration for different referral types. These settings may change, so always check the figures in your account instead of copying an old rate from a blog post or screenshot.

How to get better results

Think about audience fit. If you have a WhatsApp Status followed by students, content and advertising relevant to education, jobs or affordable technology may be more useful than completely unrelated offers. If your audience is made up of small business owners, business services may be more relevant. You cannot control every advert, but choosing a category can help where the platform offers that option.

Also test timing. You may get more attention in the morning, during lunch or in the evening. Try one link for a period, record what happens, then compare it with another link. The aim is not to spam more people. The aim is to learn where genuine attention is strongest.

What not to do

Never use bots or fake traffic to increase link visits. Do not repeatedly open your own link to inflate numbers. Do not pay people to click adverts. Do not hide what the link is. These shortcuts can create suspicious activity and damage the value of the audience you worked hard to build.

Instead, treat your link like a small media product. Build trust, share useful information, explain what people will see and keep your audience interested. If people trust your recommendations, they are more likely to pay attention when you share something commercial.

A simple Ghanaian strategy

If you are starting with only a phone, choose one audience you already understand. It could be a school community, neighbourhood group, football audience, beauty audience or business network. Build useful conversations first. Then use an Ad Share Link only when it fits the audience. Keep notes about where you shared it and compare the results in your Publisher dashboard.

You do not need to pretend that every link will make a lot of money. Start small, learn the numbers and improve. The strongest advantage of Ad Share Links is that they give Publishers another tool for monetizing attention. If your audience is real and you handle it respectfully, the link can become one part of a wider Kointent strategy.
